Gerry Gauvreau, an accomplished stage and television choreographer and director, began his career at age 3. His students reap the benefits of not only his many years of training in Toronto and New York, but also his extensive work as a professional dancer on national television, industrials and Broadway. His enduring dedication to your performers is a powerful inspiration for those who aspire to enter the professional world of entertainment.
The exuberant, high spirited, and often unrelenting pace of his choreography instills a joy and love of dance in his students and audiences alike. It is more often than not a celebration of the best of the human spirit.
As a Dance Master, Gerry has devoted a good part of his time adjudicating both in Canada and the USA and training teachers for Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America and Canadian Dance Masters National Conventions. While a member of these organizations he is also a member of The Canadian Dance Teachers Association.
As founder and artistic director of Canadian Showcase, Gerry has toured his Showcase performers throughout Canada, Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico and the USA. Their performances have won countless international awards, and many of his students are now working professionally or have opened their own schools.
